Check your email for your activation code

After checkout you'll receive a welcome email with a code like CHIRON-X7K2P. Keep it handy — you'll need it in the next step.

Open Telegram and message @ChironTrainerBot

Open Telegram (any device — phone, desktop, web) and search for @ChironTrainerBot. Or use the direct link: t.me/ChironTrainerBot.

Send your activation code

Send the message: START CHIRON-X7K2P (replace with your actual code). Chiron will confirm your account and immediately begin onboarding.

Complete onboarding (10–15 min)

Chiron will guide you through a series of questions about your goals, fitness level, schedule, equipment, and nutrition preferences. Answer naturally — just type like you'd talk to a real coach. Your personalised training program is built automatically at the end.

I didn't receive my activation email

Check your spam/junk folder first. The email comes from trainer@chiron.ai with subject "Welcome to Chiron". If it's not there after 10 minutes, use /support in the bot and choose Lost activation code — we'll resend it instantly.

My activation code isn't working

Make sure you're sending the message exactly as shown: START CHIRON-XXXXX with a space between START and the code. Codes are case-insensitive. Each code can only be used once on one Telegram account. Contact support if the issue persists.

Using Chiron across multiple devices

Chiron works on any device that has Telegram — phone, tablet, desktop, or web. Since your account is tied to your Telegram user ID, everything syncs automatically. Just open the same @ChironTrainerBot chat on any device.

Onboarding

What to expect during onboarding

Chiron will ask about your fitness goals, current fitness level, training schedule, available equipment, body stats, dietary preferences, and any injuries or restrictions. The whole process takes 10–15 minutes and can be done in multiple sittings — just pick up the conversation where you left off.

Tip: Be specific. "I want to lose 15 lbs for a wedding in 4 months" gives Chiron much better context than "I want to lose weight."

Equipment photos

Chiron will ask you to send photos of your workout space and equipment. This lets it know exactly what you have available and prevents it from programming exercises that require equipment you don't own. Send all photos first, then reply Ready when you're done.

Restarting or fixing onboarding

If something went wrong during onboarding (wrong info entered, stuck in a loop), use /support and choose Stuck in onboarding. Chiron will detect what's missing and only re-ask what's needed — it won't restart from scratch if your profile is mostly complete.

Generating a workout

Send /workout to get today's scheduled training session. Chiron knows your program and will serve the correct session based on your training split and what you've already completed this week.

You can also just say "What's my workout today?" and Chiron will generate it conversationally.

Tip: If you want a different type of session (e.g. you normally train legs but feel like upper body), just ask: "Can I do an upper body session today instead?"

Logging a completed workout

After your session, tell Chiron how it went. You can be brief ("done, felt great") or detailed ("finished, hit all sets but had to drop weight on the last set of squats"). Chiron updates your progress and adjusts future programming based on your feedback.

Modifying a workout

Don't have time for the full session? Can't do a specific exercise? Just ask Chiron to adapt it: "I only have 30 minutes today" or "I can't do deadlifts, substitute something else." Chiron will regenerate the session on the spot.

Chiron builds a multi-week program tailored to your goals, schedule, and equipment. Use /program to see your full training schedule, or /plan to download a PDF of your current week's plan.

Nutrition Tracking

Logging meals

Just describe what you ate in plain text: "Just had a chicken breast with rice and broccoli, about 500 calories." Chiron parses it automatically and adds it to your daily log. You can also send a photo of your meal and Chiron will estimate the macros from the image.

Tip: You don't need to be precise. Chiron works with approximations and will prompt you for more detail only if needed.

Checking your daily totals

Send /nutrition to see today's calorie and macro totals against your targets. Chiron will show a breakdown of what you've logged and how much room you have left.

Updating your nutrition targets

If your goals change (cutting vs bulking, new calorie target), use /supportWrong macros/goals. Tell Chiron the new targets and they'll be updated immediately. For example: "Set calories to 2200 and protein to 185g."

Deleting a logged meal

Made a mistake? Use /supportDuplicate meal logged. Chiron will show your last 5 meals with one-tap delete buttons. Deletions are permanent and your daily totals update immediately.

Logging body weight

Send your weight in any format: "weighed 185 lbs this morning" or "82.5kg today." You can also send a photo of your scale display and Chiron will read the number automatically.

Body composition tracking

If you use a smart scale or body comp app, screenshot the results screen and send it to Chiron. It will extract body fat %, muscle mass, and other metrics from the image and log them to your history.

Viewing your progress

Use /progress to see a summary of recent check-ins, weight trend, and workout consistency. You can ask specific questions like "How has my weight changed over the last month?" and Chiron will pull from your history to answer.

Setting your timezone

Chiron schedules check-ins and morning messages based on your local timezone. If times are off, use /supportWrong timezone and tell Chiron your city or IANA timezone (e.g. America/New_York).

Managing notifications

Getting too many messages? Use /supportToo many notifications to adjust your notification level:

Minimal — daily summary only · Normal — check-ins + summary · High — all nudges and reminders

Tip: You can also stop all messages by sending /stop. Resume with /start.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a Telegram account to use Chiron?
Yes. Chiron is delivered entirely through Telegram. Telegram is free to download on iOS, Android, desktop, and web — no phone number is required to create an account on most platforms.
Can I use Chiron if I'm a complete beginner?
Absolutely. During onboarding, Chiron assesses your current fitness level and builds a program appropriate for where you are right now. Beginners get clear instructions, lighter loads, and slower progression — everything is scaled to you.
Does Chiron work if I only have home equipment or no equipment?
Yes. Chiron programs workouts based on what you actually have. Whether you have a full commercial gym, a set of dumbbells at home, or just bodyweight, Chiron will build an effective program around it. Send photos of your equipment during onboarding for the most accurate programming.
How is Chiron different from a generic AI chatbot?
Chiron has persistent memory of everything about you — your history, progress, injuries, preferences, and feedback. It uses this to adapt your program over time. It also has a structured programming engine (not just free-form chat) that builds periodised training plans, tracks progressive overload, and adjusts based on your logged performance.
Can I talk to Chiron conversationally, or do I have to use commands?
Both work. Commands like /workout give you the structured path, but Chiron understands natural language just as well. "What should I eat before my 6pm workout?" and "Can I swap deadlifts for Romanian deadlifts today?" both work exactly as you'd expect.
What if I miss a week or take a break?
Just come back and tell Chiron what happened. "I was sick for a week" or "I was travelling and couldn't train" will cause Chiron to acknowledge the gap, reset where needed, and continue your programming from an appropriate point — no manual resetting required.
Is my health and fitness data secure?
Yes. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Your data is never sold or shared with third parties. You can request full deletion at any time by emailing support@chirontrainer.com. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
